Hi Dan,
First, I want to say that I am really sorry that we had to leave
early. It had been a really long afternoon. We left Fuller at around
3:30pm and I just didn't think I could take the debate anymore.
And the reason why I couldn't take the debate anymore is not because of any
theological issues but simply because I didn't think I was going to be able to
keep from screaming at Ed Enochs. The man was being so rude and so
ridiculous that I wanted to stand up and say, "shut the hell up, Ed."
Problem is, I don't think that would have been a good solution.
Anyway, to put this in a nice light, I thought you did a brilliant job
tonight. I was SO impressed by the way you argued, by your use of
Scripture, by your knowledge of Scripture, and by the way that you didn't let
Ed's obviously demeaning posture phase you. I am so impressed Dan!
Thank you for inviting us and allowing us to see where your passion is and what
your theological stance on this issue is.
As for the issue itself, it's a dosey. I'm not sure what I believe
although I will admit that I probably have a more trinitarian way of viewing
things. But what I think is totally wrong that came from Ed's mouth is
that our very salvation depends on our belief in the doctrine of the
Trinity. What a load of bull. The truth that I believe is that Jesus
died for us as sinners but He also died for us because we simply are limited
beings who cannot understand or reach God in His glory. Truth is, I don't
know whether or not then if Jesus is God, but I believe He nows
hold power and divine authority at the right hand of God and intercedes for
us. Whatever He did, I believe that He did it for me because I can't
comprehend things like God or doctrine in a way that I need to in order to reach
God myself. Praise God for His grace!
Anyway, thanks again and receive my commendation on behalf of all of the
Greek family who went. We think you won the debate hands down because of
the way that you showed God's love and grace and were faithful to the
gospel. And also because you succeeded in your mission. You got me
thinking and I am not intending on deciding tonight about the Trinity, but I am
intending on contemplating it on the next few years, so there's one
person.
Okay, that's enough for tonight. I will see you in Greek on

I listened to some more of the
debate. This guy is really a "pin head," and
I'm being kind. Actually he represents "your typical,
arroragant, know it all, I'm right , you're wrong holier-than-thou, I have the
Truth, and because I KNOW I DO, I know you are going to
Hell!" What a
Pharisee!! What a
jerk!! Sorry, Dan I know I'm in the
flesh!
I noted he encouraged you to TURN back to
the Christ of the Bible! Talk about self-righteous!!. This guy is so
full of it! Also his comment regarding you having
a false Christ, a Christ that will take you to the eternity of hell!.
Well,
who anointed him judge juror and
executor! Like so many Trinitarians.....does he not
hear some of the things he
is saying? The comment he expounded on
regarding the Son of God....... "He who does not
believe is condemned already because he do does not believe in the
name of the only begotten Son of God." !!!!! What about the
ONLY BEGOTTEN SON of God does
he not get???
Also he noted, "What does your scriptures say
about Jesus Christ?" Well for Starters our Bible,
doesn't say Jesus Christ is God!!! It appears to me, he is so busy
Playing God himself, he is blined to what the Holy Scriptures does
say!
For one thing, among numerous verse my Bible,
especially in Hebrews states: During the days of Jesus life
on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the
one who could save him from death, and he was heard because
of his reverent submission. Although he was a son, he learned obedience
from what he suffered and once made perfect he became the source of eternal
salvation for all who obey him and was designated by God to be high priest in
the order of Melchizedek.
I wonder what about this verse
does he not understand, but I'm sure he would find a way to
distort it, and then condem you, me and all of us who believe in Jesus
Christ, the Messiah and only begotten Son of God. He certainly did
the Trinitarian dance royally in that debate. I was so disgusted!!! He certainly must
spend a lot of time trying to fit a round peg
into a square hole! Dan, I really wish this type of person (and there are many) didn't annoy me so much, as I
know Jesus wouldn't approve, but the truth is;
if they want to believe, and convince themselves Jesus
Christ is God well so be it, but how dare they condem us who believe
otherwise.
Dan it is okay with you if I
quote his arrogant condemnations (remarks)
he made to you in my book ? Really they were meant for all of us who
believe in the humanity of Jesus
Christ. I will quote him work for word and there really isn't anything he can do about it.
What came out of his mouth, we now own!
Dan, it is exactly this type of pious holier than-thou Christian
mindset I want to expose. I also must add, all those who support him,and
were applauding so heartedly, are obviously pople who haven't spent a
lot of time studying and researching the scriptures! Dan, there
would have been a time he MIGHT have been able to get into my head, but
NOW, the only way he could get into my brain would be with a ball bat.
Also I noted he misrepresented Anthony Buzzard.
Anthony NEVER intimated that Jesus was just a mere man, but the
only begotten Son of God - not God himself. I am using
a lot of Anthony's work which will speak for it's self, and expose the tactics
he (Enoch) and all Trinitarians embrace to push their
incredulous agenda.
Must go, and get some much needed shut-eye.
